Getting tired of contacts again in two days lol, wearing Acuvue Oasys, drying in the PM. Any recommendations?

oh i wear acuvue oasys too and well mine don’t dry out so maybe out more solution in them or put in eye drops?

I wear contacts also and constantly get dry eyes. I recommend getting eye drops that are designed for people who wear contacts. When you put them on in the mornings also check that they are not inside out because that tends to cause extreme dryness and irritation. Depending on what time you wake up, put in eye drops about every two-three hours. That increases the moisture and putting them in frequently (every two-three hours) keeps them moist through the day.

I use them too..sometimes i feel that but i try to take it off, rub it in solution and put it back again. if it continues that way. i make sure that its well placed and if not you can also place it properly with the finger.
make sure that when you handle them your hands are TOTALLY clean…hope it helps…: )

Oasys have a “123″ marking on them. Look at them from the side, if it’s not backwards, then the lens is right. If it’s backwards it’s inside out. You can also tell from the shape of the lens, it should be like a bowl, not curving out at the top.

I can wear mine most days from when I wake up until I go to sleep with no irritation, but there are exceptions to that occasionally.

I use Alcon Opti-Free RepleniSH and it’s a great solution that seems to give me the best results. Lens comfort is *greatly* affected by solution choice. Aquify was the worst for me, and Renu only marginally better.

If you still can’t handle them, go ask to try other lenses. What lens works for you is a very personal thing, it’s your right to have an optometrist willing to work with you to find the best lens.
