New contact lense wearer. Have questions?

I have worn glasses for about 6-7 years now and decided to try out contacts. I just got back from my appointment and my doctor gave me a pair of Acuvue Oasys. I feel weird in them right now. They seem to be moving quite a bit on my eye (when I blink, I feel them). The doctor said my eyes are just getting use to them. Did you feel the same when you tried your first pair of contacts? How long does it normally take to get use to them because it doesn’t feel all that comfortable as of now.

That’s how I felt when I first tried on glasses. It was very uncomfortable and it felt like I had an eyelash in my eye every time I blinked. I would say I got use to them after about 2-3 weeks.
I dont use Acuvue Oasys but I do wear contacts. The 1st time i wore them they felt like that too the feeling go away after wearing them for about 2 days. you will love them as soon as you adjust to them
My normal contacts were moving around in my normal contacts werent the contacts werent the time so later tried on coloured contacts and it could be because the contacts they never felt like the contacts they never felt like the right.
The time so stopped wearing those and switched back to my eye is that even possible lol.
