Dry eyes and astigmatism?

I have an astigmatism in my right eye only, and I’ve been trying to figure out a good brand of contacts with my eye doctor. I’ve been using the same brand/type in both eyes, but my right contact is a toric. My left eye feels fine and normal, but my right is a lot dryer than usual. Is this common? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I want good vision in both of my eyes, but it’s not worth it if my eye is uncomfortable. Also- I’m using Acuvue Oasys contacts (1 for astigmatism, 1 regular).

Can my contacts go from 8.6 bc to 8.4 bc (different brands)?

I got a contact (I only need one) about a month ago. Its Bausch and Lomb purevision with a base curve of 8.6. It wasn’t very comfortable, so I went to the eye doctor this morning for a checkup and it turns out I have dry eyes. He gave me a trial of Acuvue Oasys contacts with a base curve of 8.4. It is the same prescription as my old contact, but with a different curve. I want to know if this will damage my eye in any way, or if it will affect my vision. Do different brands just fit differently, or should I go back and get different contacts with the right bc?
My eye doctor didn’t measure my eyes at all, he just looked at them, told me I have dry eyes, then gave me a trial.

Dry Contacts?

I have Acuvue Oasys Contacts. I don’t sleep in them but I stay up very late but then again I also wake up very late. However they get dry and blurry as it gets later on the night. I tried taking them out and putting them back in and I’ve also tried Visine drops. They don’t really work. Is it just my eyes or is it the contacts? Any thing I can do?
